What should you expect during your first visit?

Our goal at Ottawa West Dental is to help to manage the overall oral health of our patients. We want to develop a long-lasting relationship with our patients from the very first visit.

Our knowledgeable and friendly staff loves meeting new people. We are thrilled to meet you during your first visit to our practice. If you have any questions, they are more than happy to help guide you through your appointment.

How long will your first visit take?

Your first appointment will last about 60 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes early to familiarize yourself with our practice.

What will happen during your first visit?

Although the answer to this question is somewhat dependent upon the patient, you can typically expect we will:

• Perform a review of your oral care history, and go over any concerns you have regarding your dental health.
• Perform x-rays along with a complete oral exam to assess anything that cannot be seen with the naked eye
• Have an open dialogue with you and your practicing oral health professional
• Create a personalized dental health plan
